Things you might still want to know.
Do I have to sort my photos first?
No. Add the photos from the occasion as they are, doubles and weaker shots included. Fotofee does the choosing.
Does every photo I add go in the book?
No. Fotofee keeps the photos that carry the book and leaves out near-copies. For the Amalfi sample book, 262 photos went in and 41 made the book. Everything you added stays available in the editor.
What if my favourite photo isn’t in it?
In the editor, open all the photos you added and put it in place of another. Taste is personal, which is why you see the whole book before anything is printed.
What can I still change?
Replace a photo, choose another layout for a page, reposition a photo in its frame, change the title, chapter names or cover photo, and add pages. You see each change straight away, and it goes into the file that is printed.
What does AI do here?
AI helps compare your photos and pick the strongest. Design rules then set the rhythm and how much space a photo gets. You check the result before anything is printed.
Which sizes and how many pages?
Four sizes: 21 × 21, 30 × 30, A4 portrait, A4 landscape. All hardcover and layflat. A book has 24 to 140 pages, going up two at a time. 190 gsm gloss pages, matte or gloss laminated hardcover.
What does it cost, and when do I pay?
€42 for a complete book of up to 24 pages + €4.99 delivery in Belgium, then €2.50 per 4 extra pages, up to 140. You only pay when you order the book, and you see the full price, delivery included, before you confirm.
How many photos can I add, and what happens after the button?
You sign in, choose the occasion and add at least 20 photos; up to 1000 are included, and above that (up to 2000) you see the extra cost before you pay. After the upload you can close the page: your book appears in your profile when it’s ready.
What happens to my photos?
Your photos are used only to make your book. As our privacy policy states, we never use them to train AI models. We keep your photos until you delete them, the book or your account. An unordered book is deleted, with its photos, 30 days after its creation. Once an order is at the printer, photos that were not printed are deleted; the printed photos, the print file and the book’s layout are kept until 2 years after delivery, after which only the cover image remains. Can I put several trips or parties in one book?
A book works best with one moment: one trip, one wedding, one family year. Upload the photos of that moment; Fotofee picks what belongs. Several moments? Make a book for each.
Which files can I upload?
Photos in JPG, HEIC, PNG or WebP. We skip videos and documents. Your photos are encrypted in transit.
Why are my photos checked?
Before we make your book, we check every photo against our safety policy. With many photos this takes a moment. If a photo can’t go in a book, we mark it; remove it and try again.
Are last summer’s photos still waiting for a book?
Hand them to Fotofee unsorted: a trip, a party or a whole year. You get a finished photobook back, yours to change as you like before you order.
